Helpdesk Advisor\nRedbridge\nContract\n£16.16 per hour\nOur client is looking for an experienced is looking for a Helpdesk Advisor\nWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Helpdesk Support Officer to join our Facilities Management team. Acting as the first point of contact for all facilities-related queries, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of property services across the Council's estate.\nThis is a fast-paced, high-volume role where you'll coordinate and track both hard and soft FM requests using the CAFM system (Civica), ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.\nKey Responsibilities\nThis is one of many roles we are recruiting for please visit our website colbernlimited co uk\nHelpdesk & Service Delivery\nAct as the first point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders\nLog, track, and manage all facilities requests (emergency and non-emergency) via the CAFM (Civica) system\nAssess and prioritise incoming jobs, determining the appropriate course of action\nCoordinate works with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery\nMonitor progress of jobs and proactively chase outstanding works\nEscalate risks, delays, or breaches in response times to relevant managers\nFacilities & Property Support\nSupport the Facilities team with research into repair solutions and service improvements\nRequest and review quotations where required\nMaintain accurate system records and update job statuses\nLiaise with internal service areas and external partners throughout the lifecycle of requests\nFinance & Administration\nRaise and manage purchase orders (up to £1,000 per order)\nSupport invoice processing, validation, and reconciliation against completed works\nResolve discrepancies with contractors and suppliers\nMaintain accurate financial records relating to helpdesk activity\nAssist with production of management reports and service data\nDatabase & Reporting\nEnsure CAFM data is accurate, up to date, and complete\nUpdate job completion records and ensure documentation is closed correctly\nRun and support reports from the CAFM system\nEscalate incomplete or overdue work appropriately\nAbout You\nEssential Criteria\nEducated to GCSE level (or equivalent)\nMinimum 2 years' experience in data input or administrative roles\nStrong IT skills, with the ability to work across systems (ideally CAFM/Civica)\nExcellent customer service skills and ability to manage high volumes of requests\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal)\nAbility to prioritise workloads and make effective decisions under pressure\nDesirable\nExperience within Facilities Management or the built environment\nKnowledge of property maintenance processes\nExperience working with contractors and service providers\nKey Competencies\nCustomer Focus: Responsive, adaptable, and committed to high service standards\nCommunication: Clear, professional, and confident when dealing with a range of stakeholders\nTeamwork: Works collaboratively across teams and departments\nAnalytical Thinking: Able to triage and assess maintenance issues effectively\nAdaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, reactive environment\nPLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE FOR MORE OPPORTUNITIES colbernlimited co uk\nThe first part of our recruitment process is to send your CV.
