Injection Moulding Engineer

Injection Mould Toolmaker\n\nAs an Injection Mould Toolmaker, you will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, modification, and repair of precision injection mould tools. You will work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling performs efficiently and meets required standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Manufacture new injection mould tools from technical drawings and 3D models\n\n * Service, maintain, and repair existing mould tools\n\n * Diagnose and resolve tooling faults to minimise production downtime\n\n * Modify and improve tools to optimise performance and cycle times\n\n * Operate manual and CNC machinery including milling, turning, surface grinding, and EDM\n\n * Carry out bench fitting and tool assembly\n\n * Ensure all work is completed to high precision and quality standards\n\n * Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\n * Apprenticeship-trained Toolmaker or equivalent qualification\n\n * Proven experience in injection mould tooling\n\n * Strong understanding of mould tool construction and materials\n\n * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\n\n * Experience using precision measuring equipment\n\n * Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\nSalary:\n\n£35,000
