Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a well-established dealership offering new and used cars, servicing, MOTs and finance options and known for its friendly, customer-focused service.\n\nAs a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic, you will perform servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting on both passenger and commercial vehicles within a fast-paced franchised dealership.\n\nThis role offers a salary range of £34,000 - £36,000 and benefits.\n\nYou will be responsible for:\n\nConduct MOT testing in line with current regulations.\nComplete warranty repairs to the highest standards and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.\nCollaborate with colleagues to assist in their work and ensure efficient teamwork.\nCarry out Vehicle Health Checks (VHC) and ensure all related paperwork is accurately completed.\nConsistently deliver exceptional customer service at all times.\n\nWhat we are looking for\n\nPrevious experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Car Technician, MOT Tester, MOT technician, MOT mechanic  or in a similar role\nAt least 2 years of experience\nLevel 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair\nMOT Tester licence/qualification (preferred)\nValid UK driving licence\nRight to work in the UK\n\nShifts:\n\nMonday - Friday: 08:30am - 17:00pm\nSaturday mornings may be required on an rota basis\n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\nCompetitive salary\nCompany pension\nCar scheme\nPerformance bonus\nCareer progression\nStaff recognition program\nStaff benefits scheme\nBen Automotive - mental health & wellbeing support for you and your family\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician to progress their career in a reputable and professional setting.\n\nImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
